Start / Stop Service

Apply for Service

New customers may make arrangements to begin service by stopping by the business office at 210 South Mound St. An application must be filled out and a deposit must be paid before services may begin.  This deposit is refundable when you terminate service and your final bill is paid.

Homeowner:

In order to establish utility service you will need the following documents:

  •  A copy of the closing statement, warranty deed or purchase contract
  • Photo ID

Tenant:

In order to establish utility service you will need the following documents:

  • Rental or Lease Agreement
  • Photo ID

Terminate Service:

Only an accountholder listed on an account can terminate service. Verification of personal identifying information will be required. Service will be disconnected the next working day or at a later specified date, excluding weekends and holidays. A final reading will be taken on requested termination date and a final bill or deposit refund check will be mailed to the forwarding address provided.
