Public Service Commission of Yazoo City proudly announced the successful completion of its 3rd Annual Toy Drive, exceeding its goal of 100 toys to support children in foster care throughout Yazoo County during the holiday season.
This annual effort reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to serving the community beyond utility services. Thanks to the generosity of employees, and additional support from the Rotary Club of Yazoo City, the toy drive collected more than its original goal, helping ensure children in foster care experience the joy, comfort, and excitement of the holidays.
“Every child deserves to feel remembered and celebrated, especially during the holidays,” said Dennis McFee, CEO/General Manager of the Public Service Commission. “This toy drive is our way of showing love and support to some of the most vulnerable children in our community and reminding them that they are not forgotten.”
Donated toys will be distributed to children in foster care across Yazoo County in coordination with local child welfare partners. Donations included new, unwrapped toys suitable for children of all ages.
Public Service Commission of Yazoo City extends its sincere gratitude to its employees and the community for once again making the toy drive a success and for helping turn a holiday goal into a meaningful impact for local children.
