The Public Service Commission of Yazoo City (PSCYC) is proud to announce the launch of Football Fridays, a weekly initiative designed to bring employees together and celebrate community pride throughout the football season. Each Friday, PSCYC employees are encouraged to show their team spirit by wearing football gear in support of their favorite high school, college, or professional team. The initiative not only promotes camaraderie among staff but also reflects PSCYC’s commitment to fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture rooted in community connection.
Adding to the excitement, PSCYC will also recognize a Most Valuable Player (MVP) Employee of the Week, someone who demonstrates hard work, customer service excellence, and dedication to PSCYC and the Yazoo City community. The weekly MVP will receive a special game ball that serves as a reminder of their value to the organization.
“Football season is a special time in our community, it brings people together,” said Dennis McFee, CEO/General Manager of PSCYC. “Football Fridays give our team a fun and spirited way to celebrate that same sense of unity here at work.”
PSCYC’s Football Fridays highlight the organization’s focus on employee engagement and morale while honoring one of Mississippi’s favorite pastimes. Whether cheering for local high school athletes or their alma mater, employees are encouraged to wear their team colors with pride.
The Public Service Commission of Yazoo City thanks all employees for participating and helping make PSCYC a workplace that values teamwork, enthusiasm, and community spirit
—on and off the field.
